If your child played their last season of HLL last spring and has aged out, their days of playing baseball in Hopkinton are not over!
Hopkinton Babe Ruth is an in-town spring and summer baseball league where players who have aged out of Little League can continue to play baseball with their friends. The Babe Ruth program, while unaffiliated with HLL, is well organized, well supported by sponsors, and a lot of fun. Players enjoy playing baseball at a higher level with older kids on a larger diamond. Families enjoy the experience because the schedule is relaxed and games are convenient. For some players, Babe Ruth is an opportunity to sharpen skills for other clubs or to prepare for school teams. For others, it’s simply an opportunity to continue playing the game they’ve come to know and love.
Hopkinton Babe Ruth is excited to be back for another year!
Hopkinton Babe Ruth's goal is to provide teenagers aged 13-17, of all ability levels, the opportunity to play organized baseball after they have aged out of Hopkinton Little League. Everyone is welcome to play in a fun, competitive, and educational environment.
Hopkinton Babe Ruth Spring League, Grades 6-8
The Spring Season runs for 6 weeks April-June. Teams play three games per week, Tuesdays & Fridays 5:30-7:30pm, Sundays 3:00-5:00pm
The goal of the Spring Season is to give baseball-age 13 and 14 year-olds (grades 6-8)* the opportunity to play games in a developmental league. It is an ideal opportunity for thirteen year olds who aged out of Little League and have never played on the "big diamond" before. We offer instruction from our coaches to introduce young players to the new rules and skills that are required on the bigger field. Players of all ability levels are welcome to join. There are no tryouts.

Hopkinton Babe Ruth Summer League, Ages 13-17
The Summer league runs for 6 weeks, June to late July. Teams play three games per week, weeknights, 5:30-8:00pm
Hopkinton Babe Ruth participates in the Tri-Valley Babe Ruth Summer League Tournament. The summer tournament is more competitive than the spring and fall seasons, yet the league is for players of all ability levels and there are no tryouts. Attendance is flexible with 50% regular season attendance required for player playoff eligibility. Rosters are made intentionally large to give families flexibility around conflicts. All Hopkinton players are welcome even if they did not play in the HBR spring season. The Major division is an excellent opportunity for HS players to play competitive summer ball.
